As requested: This Chinese Barley Brew is considered cooling. Only the barley water is consumed.

For Children with 'yin' (cooling) body complex, the chinese bamboo leaves and Juncus decipiens can be omitted. This barley brew can also be served to the whole family to alleviate heatiness and cleanse the urinary system.

The raw barley, pan fried barley, Chinese bamboo leaves and juncus decipiens are available from Chinese herbal shops.
